I never like to sound like a cliche, but I really hate writing these profiles. I can write just about anything else, but when it comes to writing a description of myself, it always seems to come out sounding ackward. In lieu of this, I will be brief: I am 26 years old, and I live just west of Chicago. I am a bit shy, but once I get to know someone, I can get to be my normal, silly self. I love art, music, books, and anything to do with dragons.

I'm constantly reading. Most of what I have been reading lately has been fantasy, but I also like some sci-fi, mystery/suspense, and other fiction. I don't read much non-fiction, but I will read the occasional biography. I also enjoy both reading and writing poetry. In addition to reading, I also write(short stories, poetry, etc.). I enjoy art in just about any form. I am an amateur photographer. I love to travel. I like both watching and playing various sports. I like television, but I don't really watch much of it. Same goes for movies, I used to go to the movies all the time, but lately I don't get the opportunity too often. I love music in the purest sense. I have never been much of a singer or musician myself, but I love to experience music in just about all forms. I have always wanted to learn to play an instrument, but I have never been lucky enough to have lessons. I am self-taught on piano, guitar, trumpet, and drums, but I am not really proficient at any of them. I really just love the idea of creating music. I have been known to write lyrics for a few songs from time to time when the mood strikes, but I don't really have the knowledge or training to turn it into a complete song.
